Updated Guidance for Weddings During COVID-19 02/12/2020

As England comes out of lockdown, it will return to the three-tier system. I've detailed what this means for weddings in each tier below. To find out what tier your area is in, you can use the Government's website here.
Tier 1
- 15 people only for weddings, civil partnership and receptions including the couple but does not include anyone working at the wedding.
- Should only take place in COVID-secure venues or public outdoor spaces.
- Receptions should be a sit-down meal where people can keep their distance, they cannot take place in private buildings.
Tier 2
- 15 people only for weddings, civil partnership and receptions including the couple but does not include anyone working at the wedding.
- Should only take place in COVID-secure venues or public outdoor spaces.
- Receptions should be a sit-down meal where people can keep their distance, they cannot take place in private buildings.
- People living outside Tier 2 may travel to the area to attend the wedding.
Tier 3
- 15 people only for weddings and civil partnerships including the couple but does not include anyone working at the wedding.
- Receptions may not take place.
- Should only take place in COVID-secure venues or public outdoor spaces.
When there are further updates regarding weddings I'll post about them on my blog.
